So... I'll start posting from now on such journal entries so I can get to know each and everyone of you better

So... Got any favourite manga series?

My personal favorite is "Model" by Lee So-Young.

"Jae is a Korean student who came to Europe to study art. One night, her friend Melissa brings a drunk guy to her apartment and asks if he can stay there for the night. Jae doesn't like it, but agrees. That night she has a dream that the drunk guy drinks her blood...which, of course, turns out NOT to be a dream.
Jae is surprisingly unafraid of the vampire, Michael, and starts to paint his portrait. The two strike an unusual deal: if Jae allows the vampire to feed on her, he will pose for her. His beauty and alluring preternatural energy could be exactly what Jae needs to finally succeed as a painter."

Actually, it's the first manga I've read. A close friend of mine told me about it, so I got it and fell in love I love the whole story; And especially Michael It's a whole new perspective on vampires, eternal life, art, and such. Extremly beautiful, and I recommend it to everyone

Well, I don't have a favorite manga series (reads too many), but I do have some favorite artists 8D. It's kind of sad that I can't remember half their names but I'll always remember Kaori Yuki, the artist who did titles like Godchild and Angel Sanctuary. C:

I've read some Kaori Yuki too, in "Boys next door" I love her manga style!

Ah, that 'Model' seems really interesting. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

I don't read manga often, so I check out some popular titles and if it interests me, I give it a try.
My most favourite one is Nana by Yazawa Ai, because I admire her drawing style. Or hers Paradise Kiss.
Next are works of Takeshi Obata, such as the popular Death Note.

And art gifts are an beautiful idea!

My personal favourite is XXXHolic in both story and art, then there is Alichino, with also it's gorgeous art {that look suspiciously like Malice Mizer members >_>;;} and Mushishi a price winning manga.

I'm sure I'll find a lot more mangas that I like because I have just started to really look into them ^w^<3
Saw one that looked interesting but it was volume 2 and they didn't have nr1, it was a Korean manga and I believe the title was like "the bride of the watergod" but I could be wrong, the art was SO gorgeous!!!!

Model is pure love I've read Ai Yazawa's works also She has a very unique style actually.

Actually, I really want to read Alichino; I've seen some artwork on the internet and it looked pretty amazing and unique

I've also started XXXHolic too, but never got to finish it
